Sooner or later, you will have to replace the discs and washers in your yabby pump, to keep it in working order. This kit takes the hassle out of repairs, and allows you to make your existing pump like new in a matter of minutes. Simply remove the existing washers and discs, and replace with the ones in the kit.

Just have to keep a spare set of discs and that key wing-nut. As always, Hooked-online delivered the parts that exactly match my yabby pump. I'll be back again next year for another set as they always need to be replaced after a season's work.

Yabbie Pump Story

Some time ago I gave my yabby pump to my son in law, on a recent trip to Yamba I asked him to bring it along. Once in Yamba I found out that he sold it with his boat. Day one I used a half side of a mullet on a 3 gang hook and casted it towards the horizon only to have it picked up by a pelican who broke me off. Next day I ventured away from the pelican infested area and caught and released a bream which wasn't big enough to feed the family. On discarding the remnants of the mullet into a council wheelie bin I discovered an abandoned Wilson Yabbie Pump in poor working order. I went on line once I returned home and discovered "Hooked on Line" and purchased the Yabby pump repair kit. Once at home I had all the necessary equipment to disassemble the seized pump. Haven't used the restored pump as yet but I'm sure it will do the job as required. The moral of the story " Never give away your yabby pump to anyone'" and keep it maintained for use next time it's needed.
