I've used these snaps for years now in my light/finesse rigs for trout, as they're ideal when casting ultralight jerk baits/minnows, due to the fact they add just the slightest extra weight to help casting distance, as well as acting in the same manner as a loop knot and allowing the baits to run more freely.
